​1977 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ

  • The 1977 model year was the last model of the third-generation platform.
  • This was the best selling Grand Prix of all time. 288,430 were produced. Of those, 53,442 were SJs.
  • The model SJ designation was borrowed from the model SJ Duesenberg as part of a way to show these were premium machines.

  • Features include: Hurst Hatch T-Tops, AM/FM 6 track radios, A?C, power windows and door locks. It also has cruise control, power driver's seat, rally =gauges, RTS handling package, truck release, sport steering wheel, Strato bucket seats and console.
  • The engine is 400 cubic inches with a 4 barrel. It reached 180HPturbo Hydramatic 3 speed transmission
