​1971 Pontiac Grand Prix

  • The second generation Grand Prix was built from 1969-1972.
  • this smaller, lighter car had it's own body and Pontiac's longest-ever hood. It was only offered as a 2-door hardtop. 
  • This is the G-body style.
  • The model names were named J and SJ after the Duesenberg. 
  • New features for 1971 was an integrated bumper/grill and larger single headlights. It also has a slanted boat tail style rear with taillights built into the bumper. 
  • The production numbers were lower that 1970 with only 58,325 cars produced due to a labor strike.
  • This car is a survivor with all original interior and 43,500 miles.
  • The V-8 engine is 400 cubic inches and produces 300 horsepower.
  • The transmission is 3 speed 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic.
  • Original price: $4,557.
